Why the topic is important?
Knowing what the upcoming trends are and how to keep track of them in the future, is important for every business and at every level of business from materials supplier, to artist or designer, to manufacturer and retailer.

Session description
Color and design trends in the consumer products field are reflective of the mood and lifestyles of society; and are important to everyone whose products are in this environment. This seminar examines the color and design trends that are happening now and in the near future; and it reveals how you can be aware of and "track" the societal influences, so you can interpret this information into color and design projections for your business.

Objectives
The objective is to illustrate the color and design trends for 2000+ and to reveal how to track the trends affecting color and design. This is done by exploring the current influences affecting color design and styling trends; explaining the connections between societal changes and influences with color, design and styling; and presenting recent product introductions and their association to the influences and trends. Additionally color directions for every hue will be presented.

Who should attend?
This information can equally assist the manufacturer, distributor and/or retailer in knowing what colors and designs to showcase in displays, carry in product lines, factor for inventory levels, plus be able to provide customer tips for design and styling.
